I have become very close friends with a teacher at our local school.  She has been a wonderful help to me over the years.

Did things to help me that really were out of her job criteria, wonderful lady.

Much to my sadness she left our school to venture on a new adventure!

She has become a Principle at her very own school.

They are extremely lucky kids and parents.

So as a”thankyou”  for her wonderful support, and friendship that i will value for a very long time

i made her something special in

her favourite colour.

Lake King

I been away for a few weeks, Me and the kids and dog packed up and went of to my Hubbys Uncle’s farm in Lake King..

Was wonderful all the open spac, it went on for ever and ever.

The colours really inspired me out there so i had a go at beading a cuff… I think it turned out extremely well and will remind me of our great holiday all the time.

This photo gives you an idea of the colours and what it was like out there.

I was delighted this arvo when i got an email from a fellow beading friend.  She is a gorgeous generous kind loving friend.. One i do hope to meet soon…. As she is moving closer to me…

She gave me this award… i think it is a very special award and i am looking forward to passing it on…

I have sat and thought (which wasnt hard) for the people that give me so much of them selves… no question asked they just always there for me…. so thank you…

“Your Heart My Heart”

Heart shaped cabochon made by Neva Brown and was gifted to me from a friend Margie Carlier. It is not completely finished yet. I am in the process of doing the necklace part and then off to the Local Art Spectacular… so fingers crossed.

This is a very big pendant 7 cms wide and 13 cm’s long from bail to fringe.. just love it..

The technique we had to use was Dutch Spiral: which is the necklace part, i then beaded cabochons as my feature.

One World- One Heart

One World, One Heart began in 2007 as the brainchild of Lisa Swifka of A Whimsical Bohemian

It’s an event to bring together the bloggers of the world and facilitate the forging of connections between folks who would ordinarily not have contact otherwise. In 2007 the event attracted 85 to 90 participants, in 2008 that number grew to about 3 times that, and this year is set to be the biggest of them all with over 800 participants signed up so far! The idea is that bloggers offer up a ‘give away’ and to be in the running all people need to do is post in the comments section that they would like to be entered into the draw, along with a way to contact them should they be the lucky winner.

Bloggers have until midnight February 3 (PST time) to enter their give-aways and visitors have until 10pm February 11 to enter the give-aways in the comments section of the participating blog entries. Anyone from any country may enter for the chance to win free goodies. The winners will be announced on Feb 12 and will be contacted by the blog owners.

So my contribution to this wonderful event is a pendant…. wire wrapped gem stone.. it is a two way pendant that can but worn either way… so the picture does show front and back… the gem is Picasso Jasper.

This challange piece was to be free form… And my idea of freeform isnt the same as others… Way so different.  I think she beautiful with all the swarovski rivoli’s i have used… So very Bling Baby!

This piece came runner up (second place)..
